Summary

Fort Freedom, a stockade that disappeared after the Revolutionary War, is sought after, not only for its historical significance, but for gold that is rumored to be hidden on the site. The Hollister children learn of the fort's existence after a parkway construction job is announced. The children begin a search for a missing letter that will lead them to the location of Fort Freedom
