The most fundamental way to avoid discipline issues is by carefully creating a structured environment which eliminates common flashpoints. Viewers learn how by designing (and sticking to!) a schedule, they can reduce the potential for conflicts and guide young children to develop their self-confidence and self-help skills. We illustrate how important it is to balance certain types of activities: between indoor and outdoor; between quiet and vigorous; between teacher-directed and child-initiated.
