Driving through Jacksonville, Florida, on his way to a lecture at a medical convention, Henry Steadman is stopped by a local policeman for a minor traffic violation. Before he can react, the cop is shot by a speeding blue sedan--an act of violence that plunges Henry into a nightmare world. Suspected of the killing, Henry becomes the target of an intense manhunt.
