BEYOND BELIEF tells the story of two women who are living the American Dream until both husbands are killed on September, 11, 2001. Rather than turning inwards, grief compels them to open their eyeś ђا and heartś ђا to the world. In an incredible act of choosing tolerance over hate and action over indifference, Susan Retik and Patti Quigley travel to Afghanistań ђا the training ground of the 9/11 terroristś ђا and help empower Afghan widows whose lives have been ravaged by decades of war, poverty, and oppressiońђوfactors they consider to be the root causes of terrorism.
