Summary
Changes are in store for the devoted staff at the Good Karma Hospital, an underfunded clinic in coastal Kerala, India. British ex-pat Ruby Walker (Amrita Acharia, Game of Thrones) is still reeling following the abrupt departure of Gabriel (James Krishna Floyd, No Man's Land), her colleague and former flame. Then she's dealt another blow when her father is diagnosed with cancer. Meanwhile, two new doctors begin working at Good Karma-charismatic Samir (Harki Bhambra, Our Girl) and privileged Niki (Rebecca Ablack, Let It Snow)-each bringing their own perspectives to the team.
